Public universities: The average tuition fees for a public higher education in Italy is in the range from 900 to 4000 € per year.
Private universities: However the private universities are much more expensive than public universities ranging from 6,000 to 20,000 € annually. But these tuition fees could be waivered or be made affordable through the large number of scholarships available for international students.
